Yer grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Communications and obtained her MBA from Concordia University Saint Paul. Yer is currently pursuing her DBA at Concordia University Chicago; her dissertation centers on the creation of patient safety culture. Yer has been in the health care industry for over 19 years. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Yer currently lives in Brooklyn Park, MN, with her husband, children, and dachshunds. In her free time, she enjoys family time, and the outdoors.
